The Faculty of History of the University of Bucharest and the Centre Régional Francophone de Recherches Avancées en Sciences Sociales, Univerity of Bucharest organize a workshop of digital history, on 18th-19th of November 2016, at the Faculty of History (Bd. Regina Elisabeta, nr. 8-12, Bucharest). By bringing together several projects of digital history and from Europe (Romania, Hungary, France) and representatives of the Romanian National Archives, Open Society Archives and the National Archives of Hungary the Workshop aims to map out the latest developments and research directions in the field of digital history, and to present different practices, benefits and limitations of digital history (research & public engagement objectives, technical challenges and solutions designed to meet these objectives).
Miercuri 2 noiembrie 2016, intre orele 14-16 (Facultatea de Istorie, sala de Consiliu) v? a?tept?m la dezbaterea cu tema „Istoria ca pasiune/Istoria ca profesie: cum scriem pentru marele public?”, un dialog care va fi deschis de c?tre domnul Dorin Matei, redactor ?ef al revistei „Magazin Istoric” ?i va fi moderat de c?tre doamna prof. dr. Mirela Murgescu.
Ca urmare a implinirii a 185 de ani de existenta institutionala Arhivele Nationale ale Romaniei organizeaza diverse evenimente in cadrul Saptamanii Arhivelor.
Avem placerea de a va invita la o conferinta a Departartamentului de Istoria Romanilor si a Sud-Estului European dedicata relatiilor diplomatice si militare romano-germane in Primul Razboi Mondial.

The Fifth Balkan Symposium of Archaeometry 2016 will take place between 25-29 September 2016 in the Carpathian resort of Sinaia, Romania. This will be the 5th edition of a tradition that began in 2008 in Ohrid (Macedonia) and continued in 2010 in Istanbul, in 2012 in Bucharest and in 2014 Nesebar (Bulgaria).
