Between November 10th and 14th 2025, the Centre Régional Francophone d’Études Avancées en Sciences Sociales in Bucharest (CEREFREA Villa Noël) hosted the research oriented educational activities design workshop pertaining to the CIVIS micro-credential Digital Humanities for Renaissance Studies, organized (workshop) and coordinated (micro-credential) by Alexandra Lițu (University of Bucharest).All the partners in the project – the University Autónoma of Madrid, the University Sapienza of Rome, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Aix-Marseille Université, the University Hassan II of Casablanca and the University of Sfax – were present in Bucharest. Two stakeholders were involved in the workshop. CEREFREA hosted the event and organized (Simona Corlan and Alexandra Lițu) a complementary book launch event (https://villanoel.unibuc.ro/2025/11/05/lancement-de-livre-the-ambassadors-notebook-pr-viorel-panaite/). ART SAFARI offered a guided visit on its premises for the participants.
The workshop was one of the main steps in setting up the CIVIS micro-credential Digital Humanities for Renaissance Studies (2026).
