The Faculty of History of the University of Bucharest and the Centre Régional Francophone de Recherches Avancées en Sciences Sociales, University of Bucharest, in cooperation with the National Archives or Romania and the Transylavania Centre for Digital Humanities DIGIHUBB organize a workshop of digital history, on 18th-19th of November 2016, at the Faculty of History (Bd. Regina Elisabeta, nr. 8-12, Bucharest). By bringing together several projects of digital history and from Europe (Romania, Hungary, France) and representatives of the Romanian National Archives, Open Society Archives and the National Archives of Hungary the Workshop aims to map out the latest developments and research directions in the field of digital history, and to present different practices, benefits and limitations of digital history (research & public engagement objectives, technical challenges and solutions designed to meet these objectives).
The first day is dedicated to the presentations of participants’ projects. The second day of the event will include a half-day round-table reserved for discussions and conclusions regarding the future of the domain, involving all participants as well as invited guests. Atelier d’Histoire Numérique, la Faculté d’Histoire, Université de Bucarest, 18 et 19 novembre 2016
Le Centre de Recherche de l’Histoire Contemporaine de la Faculté d’Histoire (Université de Bucarest) et le Centre Régional Francophone de Recherches Avancées en Sciences Sociales (CEREFREA Villa Noël) de l’Université de Bucarest organisent un Atelier d’Histoire Numérique. L’événement aura lieu les 18 et 19 novembre 2016 à la Faculté d’Histoire (4-12, Bd. Regina Elisabeta, Bucarest) et est réalisé en partenariat avec les Archives Nationales de la Roumanie et le Centre pour les humanités numériques d’Université Babes-Bolyai (DIGIHUBB). L’atelier en histoire numérique offre aux chercheurs l’opportunité de participer à un débat d’idées dans un domaine qui les concerne tout particulièrement et leur permet de se rencontrer et de partager leurs expériences.
On y présentera plusieurs projets numériques qui mettront en évidence les objectifs poursuivis, les ressources utilisées et surtout les difficultés de la recherche ainsi que leurs solutions techniques. La réunion finira par une table ronde sur les opportunités de coopération pour le développement des projets communs en histoire numérique concernant le XXe siècle. Les langues utilisées pendant cette manifestation seront le français et l’anglais.

Evenimentul va avea loc pe data de 18-19 noiembrie 2016 la sediul Facult??ii de Istorie (Bd. Regina Elisabeta nr.8-12, Bucure?ti) ?i este derulat în parteneriat cu Arhivele Na?ionale ale României ?i Centrul de Digital Humanities al Universit??ii Babe?-Bolyai DIGIHUBB.
Atelierul reune?te mai multe proiecte de istorie digital? din Europa (România, Fran?a, Ungaria) precum ?i reprezentan?i ai Arhivelor Na?ionale ale României, Arhivelor Na?ionale ale Ungariei ?i a Open Society Archives din Ungaria, în scopul eviden?ierii celor mai recente direc?ii de cercetare, precum ?i provoc?ri ?i solu?ii tehnice ?i arhivistice din domeniul istoriei digitale. Prima zi este dedicat? prezent?rii proiectelor participan?ilor, ?i discut?rii practicilor in domeniul digitiz?rii arhivelor din România ?i Ungaria. În a doua zi, va avea loc o mas? rotund? unde vor fi dezb?tute proiectele prezentate anterior, dar mai ales posibilit??ile de colaborare în vederea dezvolt?rii domeniului istoriei digitale.
