Asumat\u0103 c\u00e2teodat\u0103 ca un imperativ de majoritatea societ\u0103\u021bii, gener\u00e2nd alteori falii importante, modernizarea pare un proiect care nu-\u0219i pierde niciodat\u0103 actualitatea. Abordat\u0103 de la bun \u00eenceput dintr-o perspectiv\u0103 instrumental\u0103, dezbaterea privind modernizare Rom\u00e2niei a l\u0103sat \u00eens\u0103 \u00een plan secund reflec\u021bia teoretic\u0103 asupra modernit\u0103\u021bii. Programul Experimente ale modernit\u0103\u021bii \u00ee\u0219i propune s\u0103 umple acest gol, existent, deopotriv\u0103, \u00een spa\u021biul academic \u0219i \u00een societate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Programul Experimente ale modernit\u0103\u021bii conceput ca master de cercetare prin care s\u0103 se ofere studen\u021bilor o preg\u0103tire teoretic\u0103 avansat\u0103, este construit \u00een jurul unei axe conceptuale alc\u0103tuit\u0103 din binomul modernit\u0103\u021bi multiple\/variante ale modernit\u0103\u021bii, cu accent pe no\u021biunile de succes, disfunc\u021bie \u0219i e\u0219ec, dependen\u021b\u0103, subordonare, domina\u021bie, acultura\u021bie, rezisten\u021b\u0103. Cadrul conceptual are drept scop formarea \u0219i perfec\u021bionarea unor speciali\u0219ti \u00een istoria modern\u0103, adapta\u021bi exigen\u021belor \u0219tiin\u021bifice contemporane, capabili s\u0103 analizeze cazul rom\u00e2nesc dintr-o perspectiv\u0103 comparativ\u0103 \u0219i interdisciplinar\u0103. Programul r\u0103spunde at\u00e2t unei priorit\u0103\u021bi de relevan\u021ba public\u0103, c\u00e2t \u0219i necesit\u0103\u021bii de cercetare fundamental\u0103 prin investigarea unei probleme majore a cunoa\u0219terii \u0219tiin\u021bifice, cu un impact imediat asupra politicilor administrative, economice, sociale \u0219i culturale. Misiunea formatoare \u015fi de cercetare asumat\u0103 va fi \u00eenlesnit\u0103 de str\u00e2nsa colaborare cu trei centre de cercetare avansat\u0103 din cadrul Universit\u0103\u021bii din Bucure\u0219ti: Centrul de istoria bisericii; Centrul italo-rom\u00e2n de studii istorice \u0219i Centrul de studii turce \u201eDimitrie Cantemir\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Competen\u021bele profesionale \u0219i transversale dob\u00e2ndite prin acest program de master vor asigura cre\u0219terea oportunit\u0103\u021bilor de pe pia\u021ba muncii. O mai bun\u0103 \u00een\u021belegere a modernit\u0103\u021bii ca fenomen istoric va oferi absolven\u021bilor capacitatea de a identifica, analiza \u0219i oferi solu\u0163ii pentru probleme specifice ale moderniz\u0103rii statului \u0219i societ\u0103\u0163ii rom\u00e2ne\u015fti, utiliz\u00e2nd cuno\u0219tin\u021be istorice relevante, dob\u00e2ndite din multiplele experimente ale modernit\u0103\u0163ii. Au fost vremuri c\u00e2nd carierele puteau \u00eencepe \u0219i f\u0103r\u0103 o dovad\u0103 de preg\u0103tire profesional\u0103 aprofundat\u0103, ob\u021binut\u0103 \u00een anii urm\u0103tori sus\u021binerii examenului de licen\u021b\u0103. Ast\u0103zi nu mai este posibil. Concuren\u021ba pentru posturi este acerb\u0103 \u0219i d\u0103 c\u00e2\u0219tig de cauz\u0103 numai celor bine instrui\u021bi \u00een specialitatea urmat\u0103 pe b\u0103ncile facult\u0103\u021bii. Nu to\u021bi, e adev\u0103rat, simt chemarea pentru excelen\u021ba profesional\u0103; de aceea, studiile masterale sunt pentru cei pu\u021bini \u0219i ale\u0219i, c\u0103rora apoi via\u021ba le va da \u0219ansa propriei realiz\u0103ri. Ad augusta per angusta, spuneau romanii. Nu po\u021bi ajunge deasupra tuturor prin cunoa\u0219tere dec\u00e2t pe calea dificil\u0103 a efortului continuu de cunoa\u0219tere. Te \u00eencume\u021bi?<\/em><br>\u00a0<br><em>Studiile masterale la Facultatea de Istorie presupun munc\u0103 asidu\u0103: lectur\u0103 continu\u0103, proiecte de cercetare, studiu ne\u00eencetat. La finalul celor doi ani, \u0219tim \u00eens\u0103 c\u0103 exist\u0103 certitudinea unei calit\u0103\u021bi intelectuale care va fi apoi bine valorificat\u0103 \u00een activitatea viitoare. Absolven\u021bilor de masterat \u00een Istorie li se deschid multe por\u021bi, fiindc\u0103, de-a lungul anilor de studiu elementar, apoi aprofundat, au c\u0103p\u0103tat capacitatea de a interpreta prezentul \u00een\u021beleg\u00e2nd contexte, politici, atitudini, decizii. Cunoa\u0219terea istoric\u0103 reprezint\u0103 o platform\u0103 a performan\u021bei ulterioare \u00een orice disciplin\u0103 asociat\u0103 umanioarelor, de exemplu. Dar ar putea cineva s\u0103 fac\u0103 politic\u0103 de calitate sau diploma\u021bie, comunicare public\u0103 sau jurnalism, f\u0103r\u0103 instruc\u021bia istoricului? Cel mai probabil, nu.<\/em><br>\u00a0<br><em>C\u00e2nd am ales, ca teritoriu al specializ\u0103rii, perioada modern\u0103 \u2013 \u00een care mul\u021bi includ \u0219i secolul XX, \u0219i timpurile foarte recente \u2013 am avut un motiv determinant: studierea modernit\u0103\u021bii ofer\u0103 c\u0103i de \u00een\u021belegere profund\u0103 a mecanismelor, a proceselor care ordoneaz\u0103 lumea de ast\u0103zi. Modernitatea \u00eenseamn\u0103 state na\u021bionale, avans tehnologic &#8211; complex \u0219i rapid &#8211; f\u0103r\u0103 precedent, \u00eenfr\u00e2ngerea limitelor geografice \u0219i globalizarea treptat\u0103, \u00eenseamn\u0103 evolu\u021bii spectaculoase ale sistemelor politice, \u00eenseamn\u0103 crea\u021bie cultural\u0103 novatoare. \u00cen fapt, studiul modernit\u0103\u021bii reprezint\u0103 studiul aplicat g\u00e2ndirii umane din zilele noastre. Este cheia c\u0103tre interpretarea corect\u0103 a prezentului.<\/em><br>\u00a0<br><em>Facultatea de Istorie v\u0103 ofer\u0103 masteratul numit Experimente ale modernit\u0103\u021bii, unde profesori remarcabili \u0219tiin\u021bific \u0219i cu bune calit\u0103\u021bi didactice v\u0103 vor preda despre Europa imperiilor, despre politicile de putere \u00een sistemul interna\u021bional modern, despre mecanismele moderniz\u0103rii, despre biografia accidentat\u0103 a rela\u021biei dintre Stat \u0219i autorit\u0103\u021bi sau administra\u021bie, despre Biseric\u0103 \u0219i Stat, despre elite \u2013 fie ele universitare, intelectuale, profesionale sau aristocratice &#8211; despre istoria recent\u0103 a economiei \u0219i evolu\u021bia ei global\u0103, despre tensiunea dintre vechi \u0219i nou \u00een cultur\u0103, \u00een educa\u021bie, \u00een atitudini \u0219i reflexe sociale, despre cum se c\u00e2\u0219tig\u0103 libertatea \u0219i despre cum se pierde. Studiile masterale de istorie modern\u0103 s-au bucurat \u00eentotdeauna de un num\u0103r \u00eensemnat de studen\u021bi, iar calitatea cursurilor, recunoa\u0219terea na\u021bional\u0103 \u0219i interna\u021bional\u0103 a activit\u0103\u021bii \u0219tiin\u021bifice a corpului profesoral se v\u0103desc \u00een num\u0103rul celor care doresc s\u0103 \u00ee\u0219i continue studiile devenind doctoranzi \u00een materiile acestui masterat, \u00een mobilitatea academic\u0103 a studen\u021bilor, \u00een buna lor integrare \u00een alte cicluri de studii masterale sau doctorale, \u00een \u021bar\u0103 sau \u00een str\u0103in\u0103tate.<\/em><br>\u00a0<br><em>V\u0103 a\u0219tept\u0103m, a\u0219adar, la prelegerile \u0219i la seminariile noastre, unde v\u0103 vom oferi r\u0103spunsuri posibile la dilemele perene ale lumii ultimelor dou\u0103 sute de ani.
